“Energy by Nature: Suriname is a medicinal garden to serve our health and make us ‘whole’ again. Meheri has as its starting point to engage in research into the medicinal effects of flowers, seeds, plants, herbs and roots from the Surinamese tropical garden. With our traditional medicine as a starting point, we want to convert and process the results into high-quality products for the health and well-being of the Surinamese people.”

Gerrit Barron is not merely a businessman; he is a guardian of ancestral knowledge and a revolutionary in the truest sense. As a Master Herbalist, he has dedicated his life to understanding the medicinal properties of Suriname’s botanical treasures. His roles as a Freedom Fighter and Revolutionary reflect his commitment to liberating his people from dependence on synthetic pharmaceuticals and reconnecting them with the natural pharmacy that surrounds them. As a Poet, Barron sees beauty and wisdom in every leaf, root, and flower, translating nature’s language into healing remedies.
