Preserved Knowledge from Millennia Past
The Book of the Dead is an ancient Egyptian funerary text, used from the beginning of the New Kingdom (around 1550 BCE) to around 50 BCE. The text consists of a number of magic spells intended to assist a dead person’s journey through the Duat, or underworld, and into the afterlife.
Beyond the Book of the Dead, ancient Egyptian civilization produced numerous texts that reveal their profound understanding of life, death, and the cosmos. These manuscripts include wisdom literature, hymns, and philosophical texts.
Mut is a primal mother goddess and the wife of Amun, the sun god. She became so popular and powerful in later years that some tried to assert their right to rule simply by claiming loyalty to her. Mut was so fertile that she conceived and gave birth to herself.
Mut is a force of nature, and her power is immutable. She embodies the basic protective instinct all mothers have for those under their care, and she offers both defense and retribution in a matter-of-fact manner.
Call upon her for powerful help with fertility problems and difficulty conceiving.
